I can hardly believe that we have been open for a month already. Time has flown! Already we have two new collections in store and soon I will be on the Eurostar on my way to Paris to look for even more. The Paris show in September is a great place to find the kind of frames I like to stock. The French just have an affinity for hand made frames. They often choose what I like to call “quirky but wearable” frames and they buy often. This allows them to take some risks with style as they know that they will have another pair in a year’s time at most. It helps that French health insurance allows this but it has fostered a more general attitude to spectacles quite unlike the attitude here.

Of course I will be updating you on what I find in Paris but before that, I will have news of a find a little closer to home but more on that later!
